Every creation tells you what it wants to become.
The craft lies in learning how to listen.
Ex Machina Narrative Factory is a creative laboratory dedicated to imagining, building and publishing original worlds across games, books, tabletop role-playing and other narrative forms.
What are we building in there?
Meaningful creations are not assembled piece by piece. They emerge when relationships find coherence.
Ex Machina Narrative Factory explores those relationships: between creative direction and execution, original IP and worldbuilding, publishing and stewardship, creators and audiences.
We believe lasting worlds emerge when vision, craft and collaboration become coherent.
Philosophy
Original Worlds
We create original intellectual property designed to live across multiple forms of storytelling.
Creative Practice
We document and explore the craft behind creation, from creative direction to leadership, publishing and worldbuilding.
Evolving Ensemble
Every project brings together different creators, disciplines and perspectives. The lineup changes. The vision does not.

Original Universe & IP Bible

Developed by Emeteria and published by New Tales, Fading Echo is the first major work to emerge from the same ideas that shape Ex Machina Narrative Factory.
Conceived as an original action-adventure centered on transformation, identity and water, the project sought to create a world where narrative, gameplay and visual design express the same underlying philosophy.
Creative direction was co-led by Emmanuel Obert in his role as Chief Content Officer at New Tales, including the creation of the original universe and its foundational IP bible and creative pillars, establishing the framework for future stories beyond the game itself.
